About Dustin
During my time in high school and into my college experience I have provided tutoring to some of my class mates. I have not yet given any formal lessons; however, I have had to design lesson plans for some of my college courses. I have developed skills that allow me to present information effectively both verbally and through the use of slide show presentations. I was also a freshman mentor to a student this past academic year, I was able to assist him transition into college, since the environment and structure of learning is greatly different than that of high school. My time as a Resident Assistant at WVWC allowed me to not only help residents that held the same major as my own but I was also able to develop much better forms of communication and problem solving.

I am a graduate of Washington High School and am about to go into my senior year of college at WVWC. I am a Biology major with a concentration in environmental science. As a senior I have taken most of the courses required of a bio major and understand how the courses are structured.
For a high school student coming into the college environment I will be able to give lessons to help develop better note taking, critical thinking, and objective problem solving skills.
