About Gina
I have taught High School Science for 13 years .
I have taught AP Biology for 4 years.
My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable pieces while helping students make connections. Whether you need help with genetics, evolution, ecology, cellular processes, laboratory investigations, or AP Biology exam preparation, I enjoy creating a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and growth is the goal.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to meet individual needs and learning styles. I hope to help you gain confidence in your skills (while improving them) and reach your goal, whatever it may be! (Higher exam score, higher score in your AP Bio class)

Hello! My name is Gina, and I graduated from Rutgers University of Camden with a B.A in Biology. I started teaching High School Science (mainly Biology) and have never looked back. I care about the success of my students and genuinely wish to see them grow in confidence as well as learn what I love (Biology!) I have found that AP Biology can often feel difficult for students, but by the end of the school year, my students always look back and wonder why it felt so hard. I always tell them "It's because you got smarter, you changed - not the course!"
