I usually begin by giving the student a starter question from there previous lesson in order to consolidate the topic. I then tailor the new lesson according to each individual child's needs. My focus is very heavily on understanding of concepts and fine tuning exam technique.
With regards to maths I give students alternative methods to help them choose a method that is easiest for them. I also set homework regularly and do marking and feedback in my own time.

I study biomedical engineering and kings college London. It fascinates me how I can use the knowledge and skills learnt in maths and science and be able to create life saving medical equipment and devices. Some modules in my course include advanced mathematics, advanced physics, computer programming and anatomy.
Outside of my time in university I like to pursue my hobbies, such as kickboxing, cooking and swimming. I also work and have worked as a tutor and teacher. My experience in tutoring in the past and working in a children's academy has helped me to adapt to each students needs, I now challenge brighter students to keep them one step ahead of fellow classmates and achieve those top grades and am able to clarify concepts clearly for students that are struggling.
