About Reggie
My university experience gave me the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects while developing strong skills in research, academic writing, communication, critical thinking, and working with complex information. I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to research and community-focused projects, which strengthened my ability to approach challenges thoughtfully and work with people from different backgrounds.
I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning and sharing what I know with others. I’ve always found it rewarding to see someone go from “I don’t understand this” to that moment when everything finally clicks.
Outside of academics, I enjoy photography, writing and poetry, hiking, and staying involved in my community. I bring that same curiosity and willingness to learn into my work with students.
Most importantly, I want students and families to feel that they are working with someone who is reliable, prepared, approachable, and genuinely invested in their success. I’m committed to creating a positive experience where students feel comfortable asking questions and know they have someone cheering them on!

More Than Just Tutoring
Hey! I’m Jaded, a Health graduate with a background in Biomedical Science + Criminal Justice, with a special interest in technology. I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident in their learning, understand challenging concepts, and develop skills they can continue using long after our lessons are over.
My approach is personalized, patient, and focused on understanding rather than simply memorizing information. I take the time to understand how each student learns, where they’re struggling, and what they want to accomplish. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, improving your writing, organizing your workload, or simply becoming more confident in school, we can tailor our sessions around your goals :)
I WANT YOU TO BECOME A MORE INDEPENDENT LEARNER!!!
One of the things I value most is teaching students how to find answers for themselves. Rather than immediately giving you the solution, I’ll help you learn how to break down a problem, ask the right questions, find reliable information, evaluate resources, and approach unfamiliar topics with confidence.
These are skills that can help you in every subject, and well beyond the classroom.
Thinking Beyond the Next Assignment
For students who are interested, I also offer guidance beyond regular tutoring. We can explore your interests and strengths, think about potential careers and post-secondary pathways, and identify opportunities you can start working toward.
Depending on your age and goals, this can include finding volunteer and extracurricular opportunities, exploring scholarships and programs, strengthening your résumé through meaningful experiences, and preparing for future applications. For high-school students, I can also provide support with post-secondary applications and general guidance on navigating (Alberta) Student Aid and student loans.
My goal is to help you not only succeed in school, but also start building a foundation for where you want to go next.
What You Can Expect
• One-on-one, personalized lessons
• A supportive and judgment-free environment
• Concepts explained in a clear and approachable way
• Study strategies tailored to your learning style
• Help developing confidence and independence
• Academic writing, research, and presentation support
• Guidance on finding and using reliable resources
• Optional academic, career, and future-planning support
I work primarily with K-9 and I am also open to supporting high-school students on a case-by-case basis.
For high-school tutoring, I ask students to provide their course outline, current unit, or relevant materials beforehand so I can review the content and come prepared to give you the best possible support.
My goal is simple…
I don’t just want to help you get through your next test or assignment. I want to help you become a more confident, capable, and resourceful learner!
