About Silvi
I have had great feedback from parents and their children in being able to connect with children well and work through their difficulties. My goal when tutoring is to ensure the child reaches a stage that they are confident in their studies and learns how to help themselves. With a lot of research before classes, I bring different learning techniques to children and practise with them. As the subjects become more challenging through progression, its important that their confidence and methods of approaching do not falter

I have previous experience of teaching children aged 4-5 at my church. I am friendly, and can work well with young children, keeping them engaged and interacting with their work and understanding their lessons. I like to focus on making sure the children are learning in an interactive manner, so they are able to take home a well-memorised lesson, and tick all their learning objectives.
Lesson Structure: I start with a one hour session to understand the students' struggles: what subject they need help in and how they learn best. From here, I like to try different methods of teaching, interactive, quizzes, conversational learning. With additional research, I continue my further 1 hour lessons with more structure, beginning with learning objectives, finishing with small quiz to recap what we learnt.
