About Chaniaya
I am a current student at the University of Brighton, pursuing an Integrated Master’s degree (MSci) in Biomedical Science. My day-to-day university coursework is deeply rooted in the core sciences and practical maths, and I bring one full year of formal experience working as a tutor. I want to teach because believe every student should be given the opportunity to build the confidence they need to succeed in their exams. These online sessions are specifically tailored for GCSE students (typically ages 14 to 16) who need extra support with GCSE Chemistry under the AQA exam board.

My approach to teaching is simple, practical, and entirely driven by whatever the student needs on a week-by-week basis. We will focus heavily on working through exam paper walkthroughs and providing direct help with their school homework and current topics. If a student is stuck on a specific topic from class and simply needs a clear recap of the core content, that is exactly what we will spend the lesson doing.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which provides the perfect amount of time to thoroughly review a homework assignment, recap a module, or break down a past paper without causing fatigue. Whether your child needs steady support or just short-term, ad-hoc help before mocks, I am happy to adapt to the schedule that best supports them.
