About Katie
I'm a biomedical science student with a love of learning. I have had experience with helping peers and younger students to understand topics and have had very positive outcomes. I have 5A*s, 4A's and a B at gcse and a B in AS Maths, B in A level product design and 2 A's in A level Chemistry and Biology.

I teach my students how to break problems down so they become more manageable because quite often students struggle because they are overwhelmed. I teach them a method to follow step by step and try to make them memorable. I also encourage students to show all working out in preparation for exams where it can give you extra marks. I am very patient when a student is trying their best and will go through things as many times as they need to. I also encourage questions because it helps me to understand what they are struggling with straight away. Lessons with me will be based around topics and their relevant exam questions if that is appropriate. This allows students to put what they learnt in to practice.
