About Faiza
A biomedical science student with two years of experience in tutoring maths and science from KS2 to A-levels.
Having conducted lessons in both private and group settings, I am able to tailor my tutoring skills to ensure each student is provided with a bespoke experience that elevates their confidence and self-belief; which is reflected in academic performance.
Teaching in a secondary school and tuition centre has granted me invaluable training and experience. Exposed to various types of educational environments, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds with a wide array of capabilities - allowing me to diversify my teaching approach and identify the individual needs of each student.

Something like teaching cannot be standardised like the textbooks it entails. Each student has their own method of teaching suited to their individual needs. Therefore, my methodology can include:
- organising lesson plans for students based on their syllabus
- creating assessments and marking work to highlight areas requiring additional support
- developing new methods to engage and invigorate students
- helping students learn by reviewing their content, targeting their weaknesses and explaining how to solve problems
Figuring out the best approach toward teaching can be explored in the initial meeting to ensure the student feels comfortable, confident and in control of their academia.
