My teaching method is to encourage thinking outside the box, and apply concepts to real world situations. I am a very visual learner and teacher, and like to use lots of colours and diagrams to stimulate memorisation of concepts and topics. I also believe that practice makes perfect, and put past papers to good use! Additionally, I believe that mastering exam techniques is just as important as understanding the core material, and will provide methods in answering different questions based on the question style and layout.
I am a first year undergraduate biomedical sciences student at Cardiff University, I have completed A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and an extended project qualification. I have helped tutor students in the past, for example a GCSE student who originally undertook foundation level edexcel maths and was able to progress to higher level. I have also offered help to younger students (years 3 - 6) in teaching science.
