I approach each topic by breaking it down into subtopics based on key concepts. I explain by showing and telling ideas integral to the subject in question.
Since I'm a visual learner, I'd love to teach using many diagrams. I understand others learn in other ways and I'm willing to provide other ways in which others can learn.
My teaching method is to ask the student what part they are confused in, then explain to them slowly to get them to first understand the concept, then moving to the next step of doing practice papers.
I will prefer teaching by providing easy notes and making charts and diagrams for easy understanding. Will take tests and quizes..
I am friendly, patient and creative in my approach to teaching and look forward to helping students achieve their best. Although I am new to the professional tutoring world, I am excited to get started and successfully help students to fulfil their potential and improve their confidence.
I am artsy and I like making figures and presentations l, but foremost, I am mindful that different students need different approach.
My teaching methods depends on the learner and the interest displayed by the leaner.
My teaching method would be student- centric , targets would be set per class depending on how far the student perceives the topic
GCSE tutoring. I will base my teaching from questions, and I can help with the understanding of topics where necessary.
I aim to please the student. I will ask the student what they need to work on most and I will find out how they best learn and mould my methods to fit their learning style.
I hope that by studying with me I can demonstrate how wonderful the natural world is to young people. I'd base my sessions around the recommended text books for the appropriate syllabus and highlight problem subjects which we could spend more time on. Most of all I want to help my students find confidence in their learning.
I have recently completed my Masters in Medicinal Chemistry and I hold a PGCEi that has allowed me to teach in schools. I have teaching experience in high school and I am offering Biology and Chemistry lessons to GCSE and A-Level students.
I'm a qualified Research Scientist with over 7 years tutoring and mentoring experience. I can tutor Biology, biomedicine or allied subjects from Secondary school up, however A-level or higher education may gain more from the sessions (have the knowledge to explain complex ideas in great detail).
My teaching method is unique to each learner depending on if they prefer visual, kinesthetic or audio tools. My methods have been tried and tested by myself and my students who have provided me with consistent positive feedback.
I have been working as a private tutor in the last 2 years. In those years I gave lessons to more than 25 students (individually) and prepare most of them for national exams that led them to enter university. Also prepared some university students for their final exams.
My teaching methodology is to make it simple and fun, as microbiology is a vast subject. As an example for younger students I usually have stuffed microorganisms to teach about shape, and have a visual support this is something that I like to use for all my students either with videos schemes and animations. I'm a very friendly and patient tutor as well as very organized.
I have been teaching science to secondary school pupils as I am a STEM ambassador, however I find teaching students one to one much more effective. I am currently in my 3rd year (placement year) of studying for my Bachelor's genetics degree, which I am spending working as a full time researcher and lab assistant in Cardiff University's Cancer and Genetics lab.
I'm a second year medical student, who, having recently completed their A-Levels, has a comprehensive understanding of the current syllabuses used at A-Level and GCSE. As a student myself, I understand that learning is most effective when lessons are open, clear and involve the student, and this is used in my lessons.
I have recently completed my BSc Biology degree at Aberystwyth University, where I consistently achieved 2:1 grades across my modules. As I have recently finished these studies, the information gathered from years of Biology lessons (from primary school, to GCSEs and so on) is still fresh in my mind.
I am currently studying biomedical science at Cardiff Uni. Learning about the human body and the way it works really interests me because you get to know what's going on inside yourself! As well as studying for university, in my spare time I love to play classical guitar, having achieved grade 8 last year, it is something I enjoy doing to relax.
Offering help for GCSE and A-level biology - I prefer to help a student through problem sets using diagrams and if it is about human biology - using real life case examples from my medical training. I am very patient and can communicate well. Biology is a fascinating subject which I enjoy teaching and learning more about.
I am a second-year medical student at Cardiff University and help GCSE and A Level students studying Chemistry and Biology. Having attained 3 A stars at A Level, both in Chemistry and Biology I hope I am able to get across to students what really helped me when facing my A Levels.
I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor able to communicate scientific concepts concisely and clearly, adapting the methodology to the interest and needs of each individual student. I normally review the exam specification a candidate is studying with them, identifying confidence and competence.
My name is Constance and I am from France. I just graduated from the University of Nantes with a mention in Cellular Biology and Animal Physiology. I play and I coach basketball. My teaching method is to start with your weekest area first. Email me before our lesson starts and I can select exam questions and prepare a few different ways to think about the topic you have in mind. For GCSE it is so important to stick to the syllabus so I will use this to make sure you learn the most relevant content.
I am currently an A-level student predicted 4 A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Welsh Baccalaureate. I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and AAAA at AS level. My teaching methods will be specific to you. I tailor my classes to each individuals need. I try to balance between practical exercises and more formal structured lecture-style lessons.
My teaching method will involve constant revision. Often teachers skim over topics due to such the prodigious amount of syllabus they must cover. The simply fact is, for a student to understand a topic, they must sit down and drill it into their head. My revision notes, PowerPoint presentations, and past paper booklets will allow you to do so.
