About Liam
I'm a Final Year Philosophy student at University of Birmingham. I've been studying Philosophy for 7 years - through secondary school, college and university. My particular areas of interest are Philosophy of Religion, and Philosophy of Language, but all areas are equally enjoyable topics of discussion!
I was a philosophy mentor during final year of college; helping other students with their critical thought, and comprehension.
(I also have a brief and sporadic Youtube career of 'accessible philosophy' videos, but I'll leave those as a sort of digital treasure hunt!)

As a Hellenistic period purist, I would prefer to teach sitting outside in the courts of the Agora - in the style of Socrates - but these are very different times!
I feel philosophy is best explored, not dictated, so my methods normally involve open-floor discussions and thought experiments. I believe this is vitally important to philosophy, as comprehension and critical thought are integral to the discipline, and lecture-style lessons - I believe - don't help fully cultivate these skills.
