About Kathlene
"Queensland Conservatorium granted my BMus Piano Performance degree after 13 years of dedication to the instrument. My fingers recall the precise resistance of a grand piano key vibrating under stage lights. I work with students who want to refine their posture and hand position while mastering accompaniment skills.
Scales and arpeggios form the technical foundation for my students. I focus heavily on pedaling technique to ensure clear sound. Teaching jazz improvisation and pop and contemporary styles keeps my practice fresh and modern. You will find my teaching style direct."
