About Daphne
My teaching approach focuses on helping learners use English naturally in everyday life. Together, we practise real conversations that fit into your daily routines, from small talk to handling everyday situations with confidence. The goal is to make English flow effortlessly in both casual and meaningful interactions.
I work especially well with conversational learners and travellers who want to speak with ease and connect with people from different backgrounds. Lessons include speaking, listening, and understanding tone, so you can sound natural and confident in any setting. I encourage a relaxed learning environment where mistakes are simply part of progress.
Each session is tailored to your goals, whether it’s improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, or learning how to express thoughts clearly in conversation. I also focus on body language, listening cues, and cultural context to make your communication more authentic.

I’m an English tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Communication with an emphasis in English. My greatest passion lies in exploring how language shapes thought—especially through analytical reading, philosophical debate, and argumentative essay writing. I see English as more than grammar and vocabulary; it’s a gateway to deeper thinking and clear self-expression.
In my sessions, I guide students through challenging texts that spark curiosity and intellectual growth. We analyse ideas, uncover meanings, and discuss ethical dilemmas that sharpen logical reasoning. I help learners develop strong arguments, structure their thoughts, and express complex ideas with precision and confidence.
I’ve had the privilege of working with university students, debate teams, and aspiring academics who strive to elevate their communication skills.
