About Jasmine
Hi, I’m Jasmine! I was born and raised in Boston and am currently a student at Boston College studying Computer Science, Data Science, and Finance. I have been tutoring for over five years and am excited to bring the skills and experience I have gained along the way to help you succeed.
I completed Kumon for eight years, took more than 10 AP classes in high school, and earned a 1500 on the SAT. Outside of academics, I am a big sports fan, especially soccer and basketball. I enjoy connecting sports, statistics, strategy, and real-world examples to what I am studying because it makes learning more engaging and memorable.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students build both their skills and confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, so I work to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and improve at their own pace.

My tutoring approach is conversational, patient, and personalized. I guide students through concepts by discussing them in a casual, approachable way, asking questions, and helping them work through ideas step by step. This helps students truly understand the material instead of simply memorizing answers.
A typical lesson includes a brief review, focused instruction on key topics, guided practice, and an independent check for understanding. I also end each session with clear takeaways and areas to review.
What sets me apart is my strong academic background. I completed Kumon for eight years, excelled in more than 10 AP classes, earned a 1500 SAT score, and currently study Computer Science, Data Science, and Finance at Boston College.
I can support middle and high school students in most subjects, including math, computer science, AP coursework, SAT preparation, homework help, and study skills.
