About Madeleine
As a biology major, I have had extensive coursework within biology and relating to biology. As a student on the pre-med track, I approach my coursework and job with professionalism, discipline, and motivation (though my love of science and learning makes this easy!). My work experience includes clinical work at Brigham and Women's hospital, cancer biology work at Harvard Medical School, lab work in a university biology department, and extensive prior tutoring experience in subjects like English, Math, Chemistry, and, of course, biology. Having completed a course on education and teaching, and hearing from my past students, I believe I have honed in on a teaching method that is both engaging and effective.

As a senior biology major, I have had extensive coursework in biology and related subjects, including chemistry and physics. I also work in a biology lab at Harvard in my free time and truly have a passion for the subject. My love of science is why I excel at tutoring in this subject, and work one-on-one with students to meet their needs and fill any gaps they may have in the content they will be tested on My methods entail review, active recall, and quiz-like questions as this has been proven to be the most efficient way to learn. Above all, I work to make sure each tutoring session is enjoyable and that my students leave feeling as though they have learned something new!
