About Vinicius
My German language studies began in 2010. I have a Master's degree in Comparative Literature for a research on Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill at the University of São Paulo. Since 2014 I have been working as a private tutor and translator of German literature and philosophy in Brazil, having completed a training course at the Herder-Institut in Leipzig in 2013 and at the Goethe-Institut in Berlin until C1 from 2018-2022. I have moved to Berlin in order to finish my training as a German translator and teacher, and in the meantime I offer German and Portuguese courses for foreigners. The source language can be English, French, German or Spanish. *** Mein Germanistikstudium begann 2010. Ich habe einen Master-Abschluss in Vergleichender Literaturwissenschaft für eine Forschung über Bertolt Brecht und Kurt Weill an der Universität von São Paulo. Seit 2014 arbeite ich als Lehrer und Übersetzer für deutsche Literatur und Philosophie in Brasilien, nachdem ich 2013 eine Ausbildung am Herder-Institut in Leipzig und von 2018-2022 am Goethe-Institut in Berlin bis C1 absolviert habe. Ich bin nach Berlin gezogen, um meine Ausbildung als Deutsch-Übersetzer und -Lehrer abzuschließen und biete inzwischen Deutsch- und Portugiesischkurse für Ausländer an. Die Ausgangssprache kann Englisch, Französisch, Deutsch oder Spanisch sein.

In my study and teaching process, I have been exposed to the Schritte, Studio D, Aktuell, Die Suche and Grammatik Aktiv methods, which serve as a guide for the course and activity development. My extensive and in-depth experience as a translator of literature and philosophy allows me to deal with current and historical topics and incorporate them into the lessons, but I have also worked as a German teacher for companies and in the marketing department of firms. I teach mainly as a private tutor, I am interested and enjoy dealing with different cultural profiles and therefore I always adapt my courses to the student's circumstances, based on their interests and questions. Depending on the location, the course may include visits to places in Berlin to deepen the experience of the German language and culture. I also maintain a website for courses and lectures on German literature with daily tips on German language and culture. f you are interested, please contact me and book a trial lesson. *** In meinem Studien- und Lehrprozess bin ich mit den Methoden Schritte, Studio D, Aktuell, Die Suche und Grammatik Aktiv in Berührung gekommen, die mir als Leitfaden für den Kurs und die Entwicklung von Aktivitäten dienen. Meine umfangreiche und fundierte Erfahrung als Übersetzer von Literatur und Philosophie ermöglicht es mir, aktuelle und historische Themen zu behandeln und in den Unterricht einfließen zu lassen, aber auch bei Unternehmen und im Marketingabteil von Firmas habe ich mich schon als Deutschlehrer engagiert. Ich unterrichte überwiegend als Privatlehrer, habe Interesse und Freude am Umgang mit unterschiedlichen kulturellen Profilen und passe meine Kurse daher immer an die Gegebenheiten des Schülers an, ausgehend von seinen Interessen und Fragen. Je nach Möglichkeit kann der Kurs auch Besuche von Orten in Berlin beinhalten, um die Erfahrung der deutschen Sprache und Kultur zu vertiefen. Darüber hinaus unterhalte ich eine Website für Kurse und Vorlesungen zur deutschen Literatur mit täglichen Tipps über die deutsche Sprache und Kultur. Diese Verbreitung von Informationen kann sowohl auf dem Instagram @dahinlinguaalema als auch auf dem Facebook Page dahinsprachschulung verfolgt werden, beide in erster Linie in Portugiesisch verwaltet.
