About Kealyn
I am currently applying to medical school while working as a Research Assistant at Florida State University. I am currently working on research project related to genetics and neuroscience. I am very passionate about learning more about health and as a physician, I hope to one day improve access to healthcare in my community. In college, I was a Community Coordinator for my dorm, and I worked to build an inclusive community where residents felt safe and included. I am a very empathetic and understanding person, and I believe that I have gained strong skills to tutor in a manner that is respectful to the student.

I prefer to tutor by providing relevant problems to students. Rather than just allowing the students to ask questions and receive short answers, I prefer to test what the student really does not understand. Through building strong problem solving skills, this method will teach students fundamentally why they are missing questions and allow them to learn how to solve questions even when they are slightly different than anything they have seen. I am a unique tutor because I am an Ivy League graduate who has tutored calculus to other Ivy League students. As a Teaching Assistant, I also lead Chemistry problem solving sections at Brown University. I am happy to tutor anything from Algebra 1 to Calculus II or honors Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and General Chemistry I&II. I am also happy to tutor in High School Biology, AP Biology, or College Biology.
