About Jae
Hi, I’m Jae (she/her)! I grew up in Tennessee and Florida with a mom who was also an amazing teacher! She fostered in me a love of learning and a deep respect for great teaching. I loved school and was deeply invested in my educational journey. This love of learning brought me to Providence, Rhode Island and Brown University. At Brown, I learned in and out of the lecture hall. I found myself enjoying courses I wouldn’t have dreamed of taking and reading and writing more than I thought I could. I loved my time at Brown and look back on it fondly. After Brown I attended the University of Rhode Island and received my master’s degree in College Student Personnel. I now work at NYU and get the amazing opportunity to support college students as they navigate from high school to college and throughout their time at NYU.
