About Yaryna
I am a TESOL postgraduate with a BA in Applied Linguistics and over two years of experience teaching English to individual learners and small groups. I am completing my MSc in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Birmingham.
As both an English teacher and language learner, I understand that developing confidence can take time. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable practising, asking questions and making mistakes. I enjoy helping students make steady progress and use English more confidently in their everyday lives.

I plan each lesson around your current level, interests and reasons for learning English. At the beginning, we will discuss your goals and identify the areas you would most like to improve. I then adapt the lesson content and materials to your individual needs rather than following the same programme with every student.
A typical 60-minute lesson begins with a short review, followed by clear explanations and guided practice. You will then use the target language through conversation, role-play or practical tasks based on real-life situations. Lessons may focus on speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading or listening, depending on your goals. I provide supportive feedback, explain mistakes clearly and use them to plan future lessons.
My lessons are designed for adults at different levels who want to improve their everyday English, communicate more confidently or work towards a specific personal or professional goal.
