About Sean
Hi! I'm Sean, an Aerospace Engineering graduate from Purdue University with strong results in IGCSE and A Levels, including 10A*s in IGCSE (with Additional Math), 96% in A Level Math, and 93% in A Level Further Math.
Throughout my studies, I spent time analyzing how exams are structured and how questions are designed, with the goal of studying more efficiently and making better use of my time. I realized that knowing the math and performing well in exams are two different skills — and both can be trained with the right approach.
With a strong mathematical foundation and a genuine interest in the subject, I aim to help you make math feel more structured, less overwhelming, and easier to handle under exam pressure.

I believe the fewer surprises you face in an exam, the better your results will be. Whether you are struggling with specific topics, aiming to reduce exam anxiety, or targeting top grades, I will work with you to build confidence by exposing you to the different ways examiners can design questions for each topic.
A key part of my teaching is what I call the “Math Exam Toolbox” approach. It involves building a set of reliable techniques you can draw on when facing unfamiliar or challenging questions. This is supported by targeted practice using topical questions and past papers organized by question style and difficulty, so you become comfortable with how questions can be varied.
The goal is not just to learn math, but to understand how examiners think and learn how to respond effectively in any situation. This approach helped me achieve top grades in both IGCSEs and A-Levels (with the occasional last-minute revision, to be fair), by improving my ability to interpret what each question was really asking and maximize marks even in challenging problems.
