About Sage
Since I am currently studying to become a teacher, this allows me to be very up to date on new teaching techniques and strategies. Being in education classes while tutoring is very helpful, because what I learn is going to be implemented into every lesson. No last minute thrown together lessons, but carefully structured plans. Calvin University has a very highly praised education department, and I hope to reflect that with my teaching!

-Lesson plans are usually structured with review, a lesson, and then help with questions and problems related to lesson.
-Lessons usually include a fun activity/game that relates the topic with something the student likes.
-Flexible to zoom with student when needed.
-As a tutor I am able to really understand where a child is coming from when struggling, and am able to make learning fun so that the student has a higher chance at remembering said content.
