About Huw
Hi there! If you're looking for a tutor who knows their subject backwards, and is an excellent communicator, read on! I studied A levels in English (including an Advanced Extension Award), history and sociology. After school, I went on to study for a degree in English literature at Royal Holloway, University of London, from where I graduated with a 1st class honours degree. I undertook postgraduate studies in the same subject, graduating with an MPhil in Medieval and Renaissance Literature from the University of Cambridge. I have studied and taken exams in all periods and styles of English literature. I also have an extensive background in English language. I can guarantee that I will be able to successfully teach your child successful exam technique so that they can get the best grades possible. I also have recent tutoring experience. For most of this year, I have informally taught a 10 year old child English language and literature to prepare him for the transition from primary to secondary school.
