About Thea
The sound of steel strings ringing out defines my day. I have guided 126 students toward better music.
Acoustic technique and electric technique are my main focus areas. 13 years of work inform my approach.
My degree from the New England Conservatory helps me explain music clearly. I also teach songwriting and tuning and maintenance.
Strumming patterns and reading tabs are essential skills here. Grade exam prep is a regular part of my work. I truly hope you enjoy the process of learning.

Steady momentum is the only way to reach your goals. 7 years of refining my teaching method prove that a practice module with every lesson makes a difference. My bachelor's degree ensures you get high-quality instruction. We focus on reading tabs or perfecting your strumming patterns.
Tuning and maintenance are always part of the curriculum. I prioritize clear feedback so you know exactly how to improve.
You will find that my approach to grade exam prep is logical. Songwriting and technique are broken into small steps. Electric technique and acoustic technique get equal attention in our time. I look forward to helping you achieve your musical vision.
