About Chris
Masters of Teaching (Secondary Mathematics), B.S. in applied mathematics. Full time high school Math Teacher and college Adjunct Math Professor.
Math is puzzle for me. I enjoy figuring it out, making connections, and making it make sense to others.
Most people struggle math earlier and then are convinced that they are "bad at it". This is rarely the case. More often than not you just need it explained a different way.
Currently Teaching: PreCalculus, Intro to Statistics, Math for Health Prfessionals ( Unit Conversion, Basic & Weight Based Dosages, IV Flow Rates, Drip Rates, Dimensional Analysis)

Math is a struggle when you try to memorize solution methods. Meaningless steps are soon forgetten.
I like to connect the dots so that you understand what you're doing instead memorize. I tend to cater to adults returning to school or those thay just haven't had a math class in a while.
Most tutored material startes at basic algebra all the way to calculus.
