About Sasha
Hello, I'm Sasha, a CELTA-qualified English tutor from London with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing.
I am passionate about helping people communicate with confidence, whether that means improving conversational English, preparing for work opportunities, developing professional communication skills or simply feeling more comfortable speaking English in everyday situations.
My background is quite varied and includes education, business, training, event management and client-facing roles. Having worked with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, I understand that communication is about much more than grammar. Confidence, clarity and building rapport are often just as important as vocabulary and language accuracy.
Students often describe me as calm, approachable and easy to talk to. I understand that speaking a second language can feel intimidating, and I aim to create lessons where learners feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to practise without fear of making mistakes.
I enjoy working with adult learners, professionals and anyone looking to improve their English for real-life communication. My goal is to help students develop not only their English skills, but also the confidence to use them naturally and effectively.

I am a CELTA-qualified English tutor with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing, specialising in helping adults, professionals and ESOL learners communicate more confidently in English.
My teaching approach is highly personalised, practical and communication-focused. Rather than relying solely on grammar exercises, I help learners develop the skills they need to use English effectively in real-life situations, whether that's workplace communication, meetings, presentations, interviews, networking or everyday conversation.
Lessons are tailored to your individual goals, confidence level and learning style. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes, as this is an essential part of language learning.
Alongside my teaching qualifications, I bring over 30 years of professional experience across business, training, education, events and client-facing roles. This allows me to help learners understand not only the English language itself, but also how communication, confidence and rapport work in professional and social environments.
Most lessons are 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required.
My lessons are particularly suitable for:
