About Jordan

I’m a certified special education teacher in Massachusetts with experience teaching grades K-5. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in education. I’m passionate about teaching phonics and love using a hands-on, repetitive approach that helps young learners build confidence and develop strong foundational reading skills. My tutoring sessions are designed to be engaging, personalized, and supportive—especially for students in grades K–5 who benefit from structure, routine, and targeted instruction. I create lessons that are aligned with each child’s learning style and curriculum needs. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family. I bring the same warmth, energy, and dedication to my tutoring as I do to my classroom.

About the lesson

As a certified K–5 teacher with a Master’s in Special and Elementary Education, I specialize in creating engaging, individualized lessons that support all types of learners—especially those who benefit from a multisensory approach.

My lessons are hands-on, repetitive in the best way, and tailored to meet each student's unique needs. Whether your child needs targeted reading intervention, extra math support, or a confidence boost, I align instruction with Common Core standards and your child’s curriculum. A typical lesson includes a review of previously learned skills, guided instruction with modeled strategies, and opportunities for independent practice—all designed to promote retention and growth.

I’ve also been trained in virtual instruction and know how to make online learning interactive and effective. What sets me apart is my ability to build strong relationships with students, meet them where they are, and make learning feel manageable and fun.

These lessons are perfect for elementary-aged students in grades K–5, including those who receive special education services, benefit from reading intervention, or simply need extra support.
