My main method is communicative, and when it comes to teaching styles, I like to keep it fun and interactive. I think language learning goes beyond books and must be a full experience. I actively work with the four basic skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and I will often resort to innovative and multimedia material to explore various topics, ranging from literature and history, to science and culture.
I use Google Classroom and I have a videocall with the student so we can practice the conversation skills.
I like to recreate as much as possible an “immersion context”, that is, a situation in which Spanish is actively used all the time.
However, this might not be the ideal approach for beginners, which is why I am prepared to switch and translate into English if necessary.
