About Abdullah
Hey there! I’m currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at the American University of Sharjah, where I’ve consistently made it to both the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List. I completed my O-Levels with 6 A* grades and my A-Levels with 3 A*s — a reflection of my strong academic foundation. I’ve always believed in reinforcing my understanding through active learning rather than reading aimlessly for hours, and that’s the same approach I use in tutoring: learn smart, not just hard. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. In high school, I was a trainer at our school’s STEM club, and now at university, I’m the President of the IEEE-EMBS Student Chapter. I regularly help my peers with coursework and exam prep, and I’m always happy to support, whether during class hours or outside of them. I begin each tutoring journey by reviewing the syllabus with my student and becoming familiar with the teaching materials used in their classroom. This helps ensure alignment with their school curriculum. Based on this, I create a personalized study plan for a specific period, tailored to the student's goals and pace.
I believe that consistent communication with parents is essential, so I provide regular feedback on their child's progress and highlight areas where additional support at home can make a difference.
To reinforce learning, I prepare custom worksheets focused on key concepts, homework practice, and exam preparation. While I’m there to guide and support, I strongly believe in empowering students to think independently. My goal is to teach them how to walk, so that in time, they’re confident enough to run on their own.
