I have enjoyed giving both lessons and lectures to students at my school. I pride myself on the levels of enjoyment and efficiency that I can deliver. I am a flexible teacher, who can adapt my teaching style to a wide range of students. I firmly believe that with enough hard work, I can get any pupil an A* in mathematics at GCSE level. Having only just left school, gives me a significant advantage as a teacher, as I know the exact techniques to teach, learn and revise, in order to gain the best results. These mainly include effective use of past papers, and real world analogies, to stimulate relative learning.
I have been tutoring younger students for the best part of 8 months now. I have mainly been teaching A-level economics and mathematics, and GCSE mathematics. If results is purely what you are looking for, in just 5 1hour sessions, I managed to boost someone's past paper score by 18% - that's nearly 3 grades! For me however, tutoring can be much more than that. But I am adaptive as a tutor, and fully understand that ultimately results is the main driver.
