About Samantha
I started with peer tutoring in high school back in Boston (wicked smaht) for AP Calculus and Chemistry after receiving 5s on both exams. Now I'm a sophomore at UT looking to continue aiding high-schoolers in math and chemistry. Concerning those subjects, at UT I have completed and gotten Bs or above in Organic Chemistry I, Introductory Chemical Engineering Analysis, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations with Linear Algebra.

I usually start my lessons by first finding what areas of understanding require attention, either by going through a homework assignment or an old exam with the student, as well as reviewing their notes to see how their professor may want them to approach the problem. From there I solve the problem step by step, verbalizing my thought process as I go for the student to follow along. This is repeated for each problem the student presents so they can see the application of the principles (mathematical or chemical) in different situations.
