About Cynthia
As a chemical engineer, many of my classmates, hallmates, and roommates have come to me asking for guidance and clarification on not only chemistry, but a plethora of subjects and topics. Tutoring others is not something I take lightly, as it is the reason I am able to say with confidence that I will not disappoint you as a tutor. Each student is new and has their own unique way of learning and processing information. I take this approach every tutoring session and because of it, I have seen outstanding progress in the academic lives of each of my students.
I have tutored students in almost every elementary through college subject imaginable, but my passion in teaching is in mathematics and STEM classes. I have 5 years of tutoring experience with a vast array of students with varying needs, including learning disabilities.

As a student myself, I know that the love of any subject lies in the way it is presented. I love the subjects I am passionate about because they were taught in an empowering way that I was able to appreciate. My favorite professors have always been ones who make the material being studied fun, simple, and straightforward. They were easy to get in touch with if I had questions or concerns and always did their best to ensure that I was confident in the material that I was learning. This is the way I approach teaching.
