I just finished my Chemistry degree with a 2.1 and 1st for my dissertation at Queen Mary University. My strongest points are maths and science subjects. I think it is important that the student first understands the principle, first I will explain the topic to them, then go through practise questions and get the student to try and do some themselves. I find that I am a very patient person and always very calm, I don't mind going through things more than once, as long as the student will finally understand the topic.
I have previously taught my younger brother for his GCSE's and his friends in secondary school, so have some experience in teaching. Also, taught them for their SATS in primary school. They all got good grades at the end.
