About Reese
My fascination with chemistry started with observing reactions in everyday life and asking why substances behave the way they do. This curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Organic Chemistry and later teach students to build confidence in understanding chemical principles. Over 7 years, I have guided learners to approach concepts analytically, perform calculations confidently, and think critically about experiments.
I prioritise clarity, patience, and engagement, ensuring each learner can connect theory to practical applications. Lessons involve problem-solving exercises, conceptual explanations, and interactive examples to enhance understanding and retention. I encourage curiosity, exploration, and independent thinking while providing structured guidance.
Outside teaching, I stay updated with chemical research, lab techniques, and innovative applications to provide students with current, real-world context. Seeing students gain confidence, improve reasoning skills, and enjoy chemistry is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to inspire curiosity, strengthen analytical skills, and help learners develop a long-lasting appreciation for the fascinating world of molecules.

I emphasise conceptual understanding alongside practical problem-solving, ensuring students develop reasoning skills, clarity, and confidence. Lessons include examples, visual diagrams, and guided practice to make abstract concepts tangible and relatable.
I structure lessons according to each student’s level. Beginners receive foundational explanations, visual representations, and simple problem exercises. Intermediate students focus on reaction patterns, molecular structures, thermodynamics, and calculations to enhance analytical thinking. Advanced learners explore multi-step reactions, applied scenarios, and experimental design to strengthen conceptual mastery and critical thinking. Each session emphasises active engagement, practice, and constructive feedback.
