About Austin
I received my degree in Chemical Engineering in 2018. During 3 of my years at New Mexico State University, I worked for the university as a tutor. I covered Chemistry, Physics, Math, and Engineering classes during that time. I have worked with hundreds of students helping them pass their classes and develop their understanding of complex topics. I now have professional experience a Process Engineering. In this role I have further developed my communication and problem solving skill. I love tutoring Chemistry and helping students achieve academic success!

The Socratic method is my primary approach. My goal is for students to understand the concepts we cover after finishing each session. By achieving this, students will feel more comfortable during exams and in the future as they did during the tutoring session. I'm very good at explaining concepts in many different ways until the student feels they understand. I also test my students understanding to identify weaknesses and strengthen them.
