About Phyu Myat
My name is Sophy and I am currently studying at University College London. I achieved top grades in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry during IGCSE and A-level. Being top of the class, I have volunteer teaching A-level & IGCSE students during the summer. Having one to one sessions will ensure that students build a strong foundation before moving to theories. My sessions include developing thinking skills before answering questions and using exam techniques to approach them. Also, I am open to any confusion they have and willing to answer them until it is solved.

My first lesson will include discussing the area the students want to improve & structuring the remaining lessons to make teaching efficient. At the end of each lesson, I will give a bit of intro to a new topic for students to read and make a list of questions before the next class. From my experience, I understand every student has a different learning style and I am happy to change my method to adapt to students.
When it gets close to exam time we'll make our main focus development of exam technique through past paper questions and re-covering any topics you'd like to go through again. It is never too difficult to teach a student who is willing to work hard.
