About Joseph
Hello! My name is Joe and I'm a student at North Dakota State University. I recently changed my major to Chemistry ACS from Electrical Engineering, so I have a strong background in math. I have never received a grade lower than a B in all of my math classes, and my strongest subjects are algebra, calculus, and differential equations. I have never tutored anyone in mathematics outside of my immediate family, and I'm looking to share my knowledge with others to help the scary world of math become less overbearing.

My teaching style is geared more towards middle and high school students to help better familiarize themselves with math topics that are completely foreign to them. I tend to be more direct with my instruction; solving the problem on my own first, then walking through the solution step-by-step with the student while elaborating on anything they may be confused about. My main goal for tutoring is to explain how to solve problems in a way that's simple, understandable, and applicable to future problems.
