About Rithika
Hello! My name is Rithika, and I'm a chemistry teacher in Garland ISD! I adore science and hope to raise the next generation of accomplished scientists. I believe that, even if you don't love science as much as I do, it can still be fun and exciting to learn. Any student can succeed with enough effort and help, and I'm here to provide plenty of the latter!

As Ms. Frizzle once said, learning is all about taking chances, making mistakes, and getting messy! I encourage students to identify where they struggle and make mistakes because then I have a chance to focus on their weak points and help them grow from there. Inquiry is everything in science and math, so I want to foster a natural sense of curiosity for the things that they learn.
I teach chemistry at a high school level, and I know that these subjects can sometimes be overwhelming or intimidating. As such, I tailor each lesson to the individual student, starting with what they already know and building from there. Whether we're working through algebraic equations, balancing chemical reactions, interpreting graphs, or applying scientific concepts, I focus on breaking complex problems into manageable pieces and developing strong problem-solving skills.
I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying different approaches until they find what works. Thus, they have confidence in their own abilities to master the subject as well as make the connections between what they learn and its practical applications. I hope to make learning more meaningful while giving students the foundation they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
