About Ade
I am a Chemistry teacher and tutor with about 3 years experience teaching and tutoring secondary-level students. I hold a Bachelor of Chemistry Education degree and recently a Master of Education degree from the University of Auckland. I love teaching Chemistry in a way that feels clear, visual, and enjoyable, and most importantly, fun! I enjoy using creative approaches in my teaching. For example, I recently have created animations to support undergraduate students at the University of Auckland in understanding redox reactions, and I have also designed a game called Viatom about atoms for secondary school students. Because Chemistry should be fun :)

My tutoring focuses on making Chemistry simple and understandable through clear explanations and visualization, helping students see what is happening rather than memorizing formulas. I use diagrams and visual examples, and occasionally simple games or animations, to support understanding. Each lesson is 60 minutes, structured as: 30 minutes of explanation and concept building 30 minutes of guided practice, exam-style questions, and feedback Lessons are interactive and adapted to the student’s pace, with a strong focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills aligned with NCEA Chemistry. I am a Chemistry teacher and tutor with about 3 years experience teaching and tutoring secondary-level students. I hold a Bachelor of Chemistry Education degree and recently a Master of Education degree from the University of Auckland. My lessons are suitable for NCEA Level 1–3 students, secondary school learners, and students preparing for internal assessments or exams.
