About William
I am a PhD student with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. I have also spent time in industry working in roles which required a detailed understanding of chemistry.
I have experience of tutoring Higher and Advanced Higher level chemistry and currently tutor a number of students in the Glasgow area.

I believe that developing an understanding of the foundations of chemistry proves far more valuable than simply attempting to memorise facts, especially considering the change in exam format to more open ended 'explain' based questions. I try to break up the key concepts into understandable chunks in combination with tailored revision support in order to help students maximise their revision strategy to achieve and exceed their exam goals.
