About Amanda
I come from Hunan, China and have been living in Germany for 1 1/2 years. I am currently studying my master’s degree in Cologne and I am looking forward to helping those interested in improving their knowledge of Chinese in my time off. I have already supported several foreign friends in China in learning Chinese and have already gained my first experience. I have mastered the dialect-free Chinese (普通话) & all grammar rules.

My lessons are aimed at every language level from beginners to advanced. I organize my lessons freely according to the students existing knowledge. Beginners are taught the most important vocabulary and the sentence structure is practiced using simple grammar. Advanced students can either be trained with the help of the official HSK books or, if desired, with a free style in the form of conversations in Chinese. Based on these conversations, I will teach new vocabulary and grammar rules to further refine what is spoken. In addition to the usual learning content, I would also like to bring Chinese pop culture closer to my students. How to navigate Chinese websites, where to find good Chinese series & books to learn and which new words are currently very popular that you would not find in vocabulary books.
