About Xavier

I earned my degree in Physics from Caltech before spending 13 years teaching students how to build software. My background in physics has strengthened the logical and analytical approach I bring to programming, helping students break down complex problems into manageable steps.

I have guided 140 students through HTML, CSS, backend fundamentals, data structures, and API integration. My lessons focus on building a strong understanding of programming logic while giving students practical experience creating functional applications.

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing the moment a student understands how to structure a clean and efficient application. My goal is to help you develop the confidence and problem-solving skills needed to turn ideas into working software.

About the lesson

Writing functional code is the foundation of effective programming, and real projects are one of the best ways to turn knowledge into practical skills. My lessons focus on learning by doing, giving you opportunities to build and improve working software.

Each class ends with a hands-on mini project designed to reinforce the C++ concepts we covered. These practical assignments help you strengthen your coding, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

By consistently applying what you learn, you’ll become more confident writing clean, functional C++ code and be better prepared to tackle larger projects and deadlines.
