About Naomi
I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Vermont, where I worked with youth coding initiatives and taught middle- and high-school students through community programs. With 5 years of online teaching, I’ve become known for turning intimidating programming concepts into understandable ideas. Students often tell me that I help them “finally feel smart in coding.”

My programming lessons are centered on helping students understand why things work, not just how. We begin with logical thinking—how computers follow steps, how patterns form, and how small pieces of code grow into full solutions.
We then ease into Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, and beginner AI, always moving at a comfortable pace. Students practice writing small code segments, debugging them, and learning strategies used by real programmers.
My teaching is patient and supportive, helping them overcome fear or confusion. By the end, they are better prepared for future college computing and enter those classes with confidence and familiarity.
