About Teshyerra

You can feel supported learning with me because I promise to bring patience, clarity, and real dedication to every lesson. As a graduate of Cass Technical High School and now a college freshman at Michigan State University, I have a strong academic foundation and experience helping students succeed in math. I understand how to explain challenging topics in a way that actually makes sense, and I take my role as a tutor seriously — showing up prepared, organized, and committed to your progress. My teaching style is supportive and encouraging, but still focused and structured, so you always know you’re learning from someone who truly cares about your success. Whether you’re catching up, improving your grades, or looking for extra guidance, you can trust that you’ll receive reliable, high-quality help every time we work together.

As a tutor, I will help make math way less stressful and a lot more understandable by breaking everything down into simple, easy-to-follow steps. My lessons are interactive, relaxed, and designed to help you feel confident — not overwhelmed. A typical session starts with a quick check-in, then we jump into clear explanations, practice problems, and little breakdowns that actually make the math click. I love keeping the vibe positive and encouraging so you never feel nervous asking questions. What makes me different is how patient and relatable I am — I explain things the way *students* think, not the way textbooks talk. My lessons are perfect for K-12 students who want support in any math, whether you’re trying to improve your grades, get ready for a test, or just finally understand what’s going on in class. Let’s make math make sense — and even a little fun!
