About Ramya
I am a student at Rutgers University- New Brunswick majoring in biotechnology. I have taught as an assistant teacher for over four years, teaching about 10-15 students per year. Though my experience is really in primary education, I believe my passion for teaching and my experience can be useful in elementary, middle, and high school education. I also believe my experience as a college student can be useful in college education.

My teaching methodology is helping students use what they know to help them succeed. I work with students by asking them what they know and what they want to know, thereby allowing students to become more independent learners. If I have to give students answers directly, I make sure to quiz them on what they learned from me so they demonstrate their understanding of what I taught.
