About Leela
Hi! My name is Leela, and I’m a college student at Valencia College with a passion for education and helping others succeed. Throughout my school journey, I’ve always enjoyed math because I like solving problems and finding different ways to understand challenging concepts.
Outside of academics, I’ve developed my communication, leadership, and teamwork skills through four years of marching band and Model United Nations, where I served in leadership positions. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to work with people who learn and communicate in different ways.
My ultimate goal is to become a high school history teacher. Tutoring is a great opportunity for me to gain experience working with students while helping them become more confident in their abilities. I believe that every student can succeed when they have the right support, encouragement, and someone willing to explain things in a way that makes sense to them.

Hi! I’m a college student at Valencia College, currently working toward my goal of becoming a high school teacher. Throughout my education, I’ve always enjoyed math because I like solving problems, finding different ways to reach an answer, and helping others understand concepts that may seem difficult at first.
