About Nicole
I'm Nicole! I am a college student that is majoring in Pure Mathematics and Statistics. I teach math subjects up to Multivariable Calculus, and help students with SAT/ACT standardized test preparation. I have earned all A's from middle, high school, and college in my mathematics courses, and have a 36 ACT score. I've tutored many students in-person and online for six years, and am comfortable with speaking to students of all ages.

Throughout my high school and college learning experience, I've understood that preparing and understanding classroom material relies heavily on strong practice and reinforcement from supplementary materials. This is why I use detailed lesson plans to prepare for my students, including time where I introduce and teach material, work through examples together, and assign homework problems if needed from different resources. These lesson plans change based on the student, as my goal is to find a unique strategy for students to learn and grow better.
I also know the difficulties that come with preparing for standardized exams, such as the SAT or ACT. By teaching specific strategies I've used for each section, I have helped students lessen their time, increase their score, and solve problems more efficiently: skimming passages strategically, what to look for in questions, and shortcuts to mathematics problems.
