About Kinley
Hi! My name is Kinley and I am from a small town in Alaska. I am in my last year of university in Colorado studying communication and biology with an emphasis in Biblical studies. I have tutored and coached girls and boys from ages 6-15 for the past five years and have loved every age and subject. I have my own website of writings and poems along with my own sports podcast and a history of editing papers. I have always loved teaching and this seems like a great way to help others learn things I am so eager to share.

I tend to take a step by step approach to tutoring and emphasize repetition. As a soccer coach for ten years I understand the balance between focus and fun when it comes to learning. I value a students personality and characteristics that bring out their voice in their writing or speeches. My typical lesson plan involves going over what we previously learned, allowing time for questions, assessing what speed to move forward with new material, and asking them to do the task on their own. I am a creative writer and avid researcher who values patience, interpersonal connection, and effort. These lessons are for spanish/english students who are in either middle school, high school, or college.
