About Aylin

I have always had a passion for inclusivity, communication and learning, which I believe to be fundamental parts of human connection and development. Throughout school and further education, I realised that many of the methods used in mainstream education weren't suited to everyone, and that as a result, bright and creative peers were being left behind. I have experienced first-hand the benefit of tailored one-on-one support for those who need it, by breaking down teaching methods and going at their own pace. Through my voluntary work with Refugee Council, I also found teaching English incredibly rewarding - seeing how one-on-one support can not only improve someone's communication skills, but also greatly bolster their confidence going forward with future learning.

English

I currently work in a primary school, working one-on-one with SEN students, who need extra support in reading, writing and arithmetic. I have also completed my EFL certificate and spent a year volunteering as an English language tutor for refugee clients. I completed my BA Comparative Literature at UCL in 2024, and have since been developing my skills as a tutor.
