About Alex
Hi, my name is Alex, and I am a coding, math, and physics tutor. I am currently a Junior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute studying Computer Science and Cybersecurity. I have taught programming to students aged 5-15 for 2 years in the languages Scratch and Python. I also volunteer at a local elementary school teaching Math and Science to 5th-grade students.

As a tutor, I am patient and understanding. I understand learning new topics can be frustrating, and my goal is to create a productive, stress-free learning environment.
Typical lesson plans will not only introduce new topics but also build on topics learned from the previous week. I have found that this enforces topics really well in students and builds confidence in learning new topics.
I have a lot of previous experience working with children ages 5-15 with Python and Scratch tutoring. I also volunteer at a local elementary school weekly to help students with Math and Science.
These lessons are for beginner to intermediate coding students, middle school to high school math students, and high school physics students.
