About Sohrab
While my major is in Computer Science, I have extensively studied the English language as both a student and an enthusiast of creative writing, spanning from poetry, prose (of which I've performed on stage!), and essays. I believe that mastery of the English language is one of the sharpest tools you can have at your disposal; the ability to persuade a group towards your perspective, or to make your friends laugh, or to simply lead board meetings in your professional life, can all be vastly improved through English mastery.
In addition to English, I am less than a year away from finishing my computer science program. While coding is daunting at first, it's actually quite similar to playing with legos: you put pieces together until what you have begins to function on its own.
As a web3 advocate since 2018, I understand the behind-the-scenes of how blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and zero-knowledge proofs work, in addition to having an intimate understanding of the NFT and coin markets. If you're new to web3 and need some help navigating-- whether it be how it works, what wallets to use, or the implications web3 may have in our future global economy-- I'm happy to help.

I believe that the most effective way to understand concepts is to explain them in terms that make the most sense to you. Because of this, I will always frame our time together to make sure things are being explained in a way that is relevant to you and your field.
I tutor at the middle school, high school and undergraduate levels. Depending on our time together, we can cover a concept in an hour, or I can develop a long-term lesson plan. All of this can be determined prior to the beginning of our time together.
